In January 2024, Marra Builders started work on the design and construction of a jetty that can accommodate up to 70,000 DWT Marine Oil Tankers.

Works included the construction of abutment, eight mooring dolphins, four breasting dolphins, two loading platforms, one pigging platform, concrete and steel catwalks, pipe bridges connecting the different structures, access trestle, berthing area for tug boat, pipe pedestals, and a fendering and mooring system.

This project was expected to be finished in January 2026. However, Marra Builders was able to accomplish all works by January 2025, finishing in almost half the expected time of completion.
